Secondary ELLs and Social Studies

In this session participants will explore strategies for specific social studies curriculum requirements such as background knowledge, vocabulary, and asset-oriented assessments. They will also interact with select strategies as they manifest in specific social studies practices. Finally, participants will explore HS and MS level resources for meeting the needs of diverse learners.
