Developing Culturally Responsive & Inclusive Education by Tangible Development

This three-part series will provide strategies to understand, identify, and address the root cause of implicit bias and the tools needed to create a culture of accountability and a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices in the classroom. In this training, the presenters will develop the knowledge and tools needed to drive a DEI vision at the school and classroom level. This training will provide strategies to create accountability and a culture of DEI practices throughout your organization.
- Provide school leadership and teachers with the knowledge and tools to develop Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Educational Environments
- Identify ways educators and maintenance staff can examine power structures in their leadership style and school environments
- Illustrate the connection between the power structures and the manifestation of implicit bias in individuals and in the organization/inequities in teaching
- Prepare school leadership and teachers to be responsive to the changing needs of students, teachers, and communities
