Strategies for Making Content Accessible to ELs by SupportEd

In this six-week, twelve-hour asynchronous course, you will be able to meet the following objectives:
- Implement strategies for effectively scaffolding instruction for ELs of varying proficiency levels.
- Use structured academic conversations to support ELs’ oral language development and understanding of content.
- Explore strategies for developing and implementing formative assessments to assess ELs’ language and content learning and plan instruction tailored to meet ELs’ specific academic needs.
- Develop strategies for collaborating with colleagues to support the instruction and assessment of ELs.
