Dr. Sydney Snyder will facilitate a half-day virtual professional development to support diversity, equity, and inclusion of MLLs.
– – Discuss how to create a classroom climate that allows for student-centered learning and student choice
– – Explore strategies for engaging MLLs in peer-to-peer and multimodal learning opportunities
– – Reflect on strategies to engage MLLs in setting goals for and assessing their learning
– – Apply tools and strategies to their context in order to set goals and/or plan for future instruction
