Utilizing the Flipped Classroom Model with ELLS

In today’s educational landscape, catering to the unique needs of English Language Learners (ELLs) is paramount, and the flipped classroom model offers an exciting approach to do just that. Over the course of this two-part training, Kristen Vadnais and Stephanie Carbone will explore the principles and practical applications of the flipped classroom model, equipping you with the knowledge and tools necessary to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that fosters language proficiency and academic success for ELLs. Join us on this journey to reimagine English language education and inspire your students to achieve their fullest potential. Session 1 will introduce the flipped classroom and why it is ideal for ELLs. Participants will begin to transform a lesson of their choice during session 2. The Zoom link will be shared with all registered participants via Frontline the day before the session.
