Scaffolding Content Instruction for English Language Learners: Newcomers

During this interactive, on demand course, participants will (1) define scaffolding and the importance of scaffolding instruction for ELL newcomers; (2) explore a range of strategies for scaffolding instruction for ELL Newcomers; (3) apply strategies for scaffolding content activities for ELL Newcomers at different levels of English proficiency; (4) reflect on scaffolding and strategies to support ELL Newcomers.
