Twice-exceptional ELLS: Part 3
This two-session PD addresses specific ideas for meeting the classroom needs of ELLs with Disabilities. Participants will engage with the NYS Advanced Literacies, Universal Design for Learning, and other resources to explore opportunities for generating student success. You should have some prior knowledge of the differences between language difference and disability and ideally have participated in Parts 1 & 2 of this series. We will be referencing the text RTI for Diverse Learners that was provided for attendees of the previous sessions of RTI for ELLs. If you do not have a book, you may wish to purchase one prior to the first session but it is not mandatory. The ISBN is 9781452223452, 1452223459.
