Empowering Partnerships: Communicating with Families of Newcomer Students

In this workshop, educators will explore effective strategies for engaging and communicating with families who speak little to no English and whose children are Newcomers to the US school system. Building strong partnerships with these families is crucial for supporting the academic and social success of our Newcomer students. By implementing engaging strategies and leveraging technology, educators can establish strong partnerships with Newcomer families, promote a sense of belonging, and ultimately support the academic success of our Newcomer students.
