Building a Culture of Accountability
This session will outline the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to understand each other more effectively and communicate across lines of identity and lived experience, the ultimate goal being to gain a deeper understanding and ability to grow as colleagues in the professional context using real-life examples of conflicts in the workplace. Outcomes ● Develop a common diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and social justice language and understanding of power through a social identity and organizational identity lens ● Identify skills needed to engage in vulnerability and risk-taking needed to navigate complex power dynamics ● Explore promising accountability practices around that specifically impact the experiences of English Language Learners.
