Back to School Social Emotional Learning for ELLs
This one hour PD will provide Social Emotional Learning supports that will be helpful when schools reopen because students will return with varying degrees of anxiety and stress. Through the use of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) strategies, educators can help students cope with back-to-school anxiety to truly thrive in class. We will provide suggested strategies that can equip educators with the skills needed to build resilient and empathetic classrooms through Social Emotional Learning. This session will provide different ways to better support ELLs’ Social Emotional Learning through the use of literature and visuals.
