Advocacy for ELLs/MLLs

Learn how to become an advocate through strategies covered in this ½ day session. We will explore what advocacy looks like at the following levels:

• Classroom advocacy
• School advocacy
• District advocacy
• State-level advocacy
• National advocacy

Participants will collaborate by sharing strategies and resources that contribute to advocacy efforts for English learners in our schools, their families, communities, and larger issues that impact our field.
