In this introductory hybrid book study, participants will read, reflect and contextualize information and theories from the first three chapters, associated with Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Belonging (DEIAB) in Early Childhood education.
This workshop consists of 3 separate activities offered on a Choice Board, as well as 2 virtual meetings to discuss the ground work behind these practices.
Participants can earn 2 CTLE credits for the completion of each Choice Board activity or up to 8 CTLE credits for completing all activities and attending the 2 virtual meetings.
Choice Board topics are as follows:
Definitions and Myths
Purposeful Language, Intersectionality, and Subjective vs. Objective Language
Emotional Intelligence, Kind Vs. Nice, Hindering Communication, Active Listening and Using Communication

Participants will have until Aug. 24th to complete the assignments for CTLE credits.
Participants who register by July 1st will receive a free copy of the book.
July 25th-Agust 24th Virtual Meetings on August and 1st and August 15th.
